Duties / Info :  For much of the day I was assisting the art department with the construction of a wall of televisions. However I also assisted all departments with the movement of equipment, did some basic cable bashing, assisted the 2nd AD with managing extras, performed any duties asked of me by the 1st AD and of course made a lot of tea and coffee.

Duties / Info :  Working in a hotel in central London this job involved lots of moving equipment, around the hotel, looking after all departments (helping where ever needed) and of course performing whatever duties the 1st AD required. It was a long day but as always I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Duties / Info :  A one day shoot with equipment pick ups the day before. We were very pushed for time on the day so, amongst others, one of my main duties was getting all equipment in and out quickly, assisting all departments. As well as this I assisted the 3rd AD with the management of fifty extra, as always performed duties quickly and also attempted to pre-empt emerging problems / needs.

Duties / Info :  We filmed four music videos over the course of two days. This meant very long, hectic days but I thoroughly enjoyed it. My duties were common for a runner, doing whatever was asked of me. This included but was not limited to, the unloading and loading of equipment, cable bashing, assisting the art director, marshaling and of course making tea and coffee.

Duties / Info :  My official title was Street marshal. Duties included: locking off busy locations in London (e.g. St Paul’s Cathedral) and marshaling large groups of general public, up to fifty at a time. Also having gained experience I was put in charge of a small team of five and asked to asses and lock off one street myself.
