Profile: I have recently completed the Television Production Course at Bournemouth University Media School. I have a persistent interest in photography and videography and I am keen to maintain this interest throughout my professional career where my creative initiative, technical experience and enthusiasm will allow me to progress.

Profile: I have been making films for around six years. Since being at university studying Film Production I realised that my passion lies in camera work, rigging and generally being on set (although I am also a keen editor). I am really good at working to deadlines (in a team or on my own). I enjoy working hard and find it easy to follow instructions. I am very dedicated and will give 100% effort on a project. I have been a keen cameraman for about three years. I am constantly being asked by my peers to shoot their short films. So I am often good to have around on set in case the cameraman does not turn up, etc. I also enjoy acting and as of this year I have put together a small show-reel of work. This has also came in handy on set when an actor previously dropped out.

Profile: I am an enthusiastic person with creative mind, ‘can do’ attitude towards learning and a constant smile on the face. As a typical cinema-goer, lover of performing and visual arts, I am a good team player who assimilates easily in new environment but can also work on my own initiative when necessary. I pride myself on my administrative and organizational abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as capability to prioritise workload to meet strict deadlines coping with related pressures. And last but not least, I am strongly determined to work within Media Production Industry and Entertainment and always do my best to achieve my goals.

Profile: I believe finding a fresh approach and unique angle from which to communicate from on every new project quickly becomes your greatest asset.

Profile: I am a warm, friendly, self motivated individual who is determined to achieve goals. I have the ability to foster good relationships and work as part of a team. I have experience of working in high pressure environments and meeting deadlines, I have the ability to work with a range of people in different environments. I genuiely am interested in other people and listen to them and appreciate any advise, assistance that others will give me. I enjoy being proactive, working hard, meeting new people, travelling, having a good sense of humour and being able to experience life.

Profile: I am extremely organized, personally and at work this of course derives in certain qualities of my work. I pay enormous attention to detail but at the same time I do my best to deliver my work before deadline. All this is commonly appreciated by all crews that I have worked with and the recognition of my work is one of the things that make me most proud, as I tend to reflect myself in my work. Even though films have a business side, they are all about the art so I think that for this reason they require an special passion which I most definitely have.

Profile: I am passionate about working in the entertainment industry, I am a punctual, hard-working person. I love working with other people and love learning new things everyday. My Goal is to one day become a TV Producer and create my own programmes.

Profile: I am dedicated to what I do, am punctual/reliable, have excellent communication skills, great customer service skills, work well within a team, am enthusiastic and am averse to absence/taking days off sick unless it’s for holiday or I am genuinely ill. Finally, I am passionate about TV!

Profile: I am a creative thinker who has the writing ability to develop good script but who is looking to develop practical skills to work in the industry and get a leg up in the industry.

Profile: John has discovered an interest in working in the film and tv industry after having worked on various film projects. His valuable insight into film is now driving his hunger and leading him to make and direct a short film. He has Irish roots and his background is mainly with local government in Dublin but has taken time out (5 years) to discover his potential and see where he may go from here.

Profile: An experienced Media Professional with strong organizing and time management skills. Works well under pressure in a live to air television environment. Also has budget setting and management experience. Has successfully maintained a good work relationship with internal and external contacts.

Profile: I am an enthusiastic worker as well as a very social person. I am excited to learn new skills and I pick them up fairly quickly. I believe my friends would describe me as Funny, positive and sociable. I have always had a passion for film and media, from a very young age I was shooting home videos with my brother, using many creative mediums. I prefer physical work and working to maximum capacity, I believe it is the best way to learn.

Profile: Matthew is highly enthusiastic and eager. He picks up and learns things quickly, which makes him very reliable. He is very conscience about punctuality and time-keeping and in the last 30 months of work he has only had 3 sick days. He is the first person at work in the morning and one of the last to leave. Mathew is very self-motivating and encourages and supports others. He is equally capable of working as part of a team or in isolation. He is driven and focused on the task in hand until it is completed to high standards. He is dependable when things aren\\\\\\\'t going right and adapts when required.

Profile: I have recently finished working as a Researcher for Awesome television’s website Wordia.com and I am immediately available. I now have over a year of experience in the industry. Overall I have worked for 9 years now, my experience before broadcast is in the financial sector, although this was rewarding and developed many transferable skills, I am now pursuing a career I am more passionate about. I graduated with a good grade in a very difficult subject, and I think this stands as testament to a strength of character that I managed to switch careers to broadcast after working in the financial sector, as it was very difficult indeed even finding unpaid work due to my lack of a relevant degree or broadcast work, but I have finally found my way through sheer graft. I\'m open to a wide range of positions, as my references and degree will illustrate, I have the intelligence and aptitude to succeed in a variety of roles. However I am perfectly happy in a basic runner role, particularly if the company/production interests me, as I want to devlop my broadcast experience. Finally, I am perfectly happy with working long hours, evenings and weekends, so I am very flexible, something I had grown accustomed to in braodcast. I\'m a flexible, intelligent, enthusiastic, and motivated hard worker (e.g. at Hays I was given a raise due to strong results and at Red Bee I was given a contract extension). I know how to balance a professional and fun manner whilst getting the job at hand done.

Profile: I am a university graduate with professional experience as a location runner, street marshal, sound assistant, camera assistant and production co-ordinator. I am intelligent, passionate, creative and extremely hardworking. Having gained previous experience I know the level of commitment this industry requires and am more than willing and capable of performing to this standard.

Profile: Nathan is committed to his work. He is polite & conscientious & his dream is to be an editor & aims to expand his industry experience by gaining further valuable skills & knowledge working as a runner in production & especially in post production. He has good verbal & written communication skills, hard working, reliable, honest & respectful - all valuable skills to be a runner. Enjoys watching TV, Films & listening to music.

Profile: Nicola is a very pleasant and friendly member of our club. She is quick to learn, motivated and enthusiastic. She has many creative talents as well as practical ones and she has a vested interest in the arts and as such knows of the pressures involved in live production. She is extremely versatile and well accomplished in a variety of ways including driving and owning a 2.5 ton truck, travelling extensively across the globe as well as earning a Liberian Seaman’s Pass! She has even been a croupier aboard a cruise liner!

Profile: Since first starting out in media, at the age of seventeen, I worked as a runner, a boom operator and a production assistant on several occasions. Whilst I fully enjoyed the mundane activities that were thrown upon me, such as collecting lunches, looking after the actors, crowd control duties, distributing paperwork to the cast and crew, collecting props, making teas and help moving the set around, I was each time able to learn and contribute as much as possible to each production. I found myself working with the grip department on my first on-set experience, where I helped set up tracks. I remember being so excited at the prospect of being involved, using the spirit level, placing each track together, examining the dolly. I loved every moment of it and knew that I wanted to continue to work further in media production. As I went on to study and make films at university, I graduated in 2005, set on making a career for myself as a writer. Over the years, I’ve written screenplays, stage plays, published several poems and a graphic novel. I’ve worked on films which have been screened at numerous worldwide festivals, which have included Edinburgh and SXSW in Texas, USA. Over the past few months, I’ve been looking to return to the active world of film and TV production, as I’ve realised I’m a very active person and enjoy the mundane activities that this kind of job requires, as I love being a part of it all and have the motivation and passion to do it. I want to take all my years and experience of working within the film and TV industry and finally putting it all towards where my main talents lie, within a practical and hands on career.

Through my education in media, ethics, philosophy, theology, sociology and production experience, I\'ve acquired the skills to complete jobs to the highest level, but I want to learn more to help the industry continue to move in new directions.
