As a media production student, I worked on producing film and television with in a team and independently, which has given me a large understanding of the production process. I was able to obtain a high level of professionalism due to the university course and I had the opportunity to train in a BBC studio in Wood Norton Training Centre. This gave me the opportunity to work in live television and post production environment. Profile: I've just moved over from Leeds to Salford, having graduated from the Northern Film School. Originally this began with loading and unloading equipment, assisting in the lighting department, before I became responsible for all the publicity stills. Although I always specialised in directing, most of my time was spent with the camera and lighting departments; working for and socialising with them, of which there was much to be learned from both. The work in stills photography was originally something I’d started merely to develop an eye for composition, but has since become almost a parallel way of life, catering for music events and film publicity.
